This site is aimed at providing information to members of the Snowy River Ski Club. The club operates Doorack lodge in Guthega, part of the Perisher Blue ski resort.
The Snowy River is also called Doorack; but I could not get the meaning from the blacks. The name (Karung gil) I have given refers to its lower part, near the sea. - JOHN BULMER.

Cool - may I have a section for posting info when cancellations mean previously booked-out weeks have accommodation?

Yep, I’ll set up some categories.
Great - hopefully the first step towards online booking, to save Iris all the phone calls she gets all winter. Also, Lodge Host may be able to accommodate casual member drop ins without ringing Iris or compromising someone else’s booking.

Watch this space. I have already written an on-line booking system but at present all bookings must be paid for at the time of booking so as not to disadvantage other members. It’s planned to process these payments on-line to allow bookings to be made 24×7 though in the short turn I could securely pass on payment details to the booking contact to process each night. If the payments aren’t received within 24hrs then the booking would be cancelled and be made available to other members.
Any suggestions?
